I do feel more connected to the story also. Obviously with Shadowheart I know there’s a lot of discourse around Shar, and I’m not expecting that with a custom character, but I’m hoping there are I personally have chosen mine as a spore druid as the dark urge does in game keep letting you know how pretty you find death and dead body’s as well as violence’s meaning most likely they would also find stuff like corpses stuffed to the brim with maggots devouring there rotting guts as fungus bursts out of the eye socks of the dead victim or the grade decay of everything around as mold Out of curiosity, does the game do anything to address the paradox of the Dark Urge potentially being a Cleric of another god (based on your character creation choices)? Or does it just sort of ignore that paradox? It seems odd for a Chosen of Bhaal to also be a Cleric of another god (especially one of the good-aligned gods). For single bow archer - Start war priest 1, then ranger to 5, assassin to 4 (asi), then last 2 levels go to your choice, 2 into fighter for surge, 2 into spore for riders and sporekeeper armor, 2 into assassin for another sneak die and proficiencies.
